Excellent communication and reporting skills Ability to liaise effectively and competently with technicians and team members Excellent record keeping skills Ability to multitask the quoting and invoicing of multiple projects and tenders Strong technical background Good problem-solving skills Proficiency in mathematics Reliable and dependable Attention to accuracy and detail Analytical and logical Ethical and trustworthy Computer literacy Excellent planning skills Responsibilities: Stock control Transparent, clear, professional and courteous/amicable communication ensuring that deliverables fall withing the scope of work and the contract value Control issuing of materials and equipment to ensure stock levels are maintained Supply the accounts department on a daily basis with information such as stock levels, invoicing, purchasing orders, etc. Administration and paperwork, relating to your position and related duties. All paperwork to be submitted timeously, in neat and accurate manner. This includes monthly job lists, providing feedback to senior management regarding jobs/clients. Once accepting a new contract, ensure HHK has a signed purchase order, check price, material costing, timing, drawings, etc and programme contract procedure with client, site etc. Ensure all additional expenses, not previously known to the estimators, are covered by variation orders and paid by the client. Ensure compliance with all requirements on site regarding health, safety and environmental policies, manuals and procedures Ensure site instructions are received for any extra work required on site prior to work being carried out. Arrange for lightning protection design (SABS approved) to be prepared by the drawing office, if not on record, alternatively discuss BOQ with estimator to ensure accurate costing and planning of materials Complete invoice as soon as j
