Description:
Team Leadership: Guide, mentor, and support the finance team while promoting a high-performance culture focused on accountability and continuous improvement
Financial Reporting: Manage end-to-end financial reporting processes, track key financial indicators, and deliver actionable insights to support business decisions and ensure compliance with accounting standards
Internal Controls: Strengthen internal controls by ensuring accurate reconciliations across all payment channels and driving automation to enhance efficiency and safeguard company assets
Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning, manage banking relationships, and implement funding strategies to ensure liquidity and cost efficiency
Tax & Compliance: Maintain full compliance with tax laws across multiple jurisdictions, manage tax submissions, and coordinate successful external audits
Strategic Support: Contribute to fundraising efforts, investor communications, and M&A activities by providing clear financial insights and strategic guidance
Skills & Experience:
Professional Certification Registered with a recognized professional body (CA(SA), CIMA)
Experience At least 5 years of experience in a financial management role
Industry Knowledge Fintech industry experience is highly advantageous
Leadership Skills Proven experience in managing and leading finance teams
Qualification:
CA(SA) / ACMA, CGMA
CFA is highly beneficial
