Description:
Managing Director required for our Clients new Gypsum Plant, which will support the production of their Gypsum Board business. Manufacturing is not expected to commence until early 2027.The role carries full P&L responsibility and involves leading the Gypsum management team, which includes functions across sales, operations, finance, business development, and engineering.
Reporting to the Group Managing Director, the successful candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, expanding into new markets, mentoring and coaching the leadership team, and collaborating with international entities to implement successful strategies from other regionsall while navigating the evolving landscape of the Irish and UK construction sectors.

Key Qualifications
Proven leadership experience, with a track record of developing and retaining high-performing teams and managing businesses of 50+ employees Experience in Gypsum and or manufacturing industries Demonstrable experience in P&L management Strong commercial acumen Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to drive growth Experience managing multiple routes to market Familiarity with, or willingness to work within, a family-owned business culture Proven experience in improving operational efficiencies and profitability Willingness to be based near, or commute to South East of IrelandThis is a unique opportunity to lead a financially robust business with a highly engaged team and a strong market reputation.
