Job Opportunity: Actuary – Structuring & Solutions Team A leading company in the life insurance industry is seeking a driven and passionate problem solver to join their Structuring & Solutions team. If you're a nearly qualified Actuary with experience in life insurance product development, we'd love to hear from you! Key Responsibilities:- Support the design and structuring of innovative group and individual life insurance products.
- Review and enhance existing products to better serve current clients.
- Ensure compliance by assessing product range against regulatory and professional guidelines.
- Lead the Product Development team, providing guidance to junior actuarial analysts.
- Engage with clients and reinsurers on product strategies and enhancements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on technical product matters.
- Analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Innovative with a collaborative mindset.
- Strong networking skills with various stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with strong interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with diverse actuarial techniques.
- Quick learner, self-starter, and adaptable to change.
- Able to think laterally to solve complex problems.
- Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Nearly qualified actuary.
- 3-5 years of experience in the financial services industry.
- Experience in life insurance product development (advantageous).
- Experience managing a team (advantageous).
