A renowned luxury restaurant in Durban is seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant Manager to lead and inspire their front-of-house team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in upmarket dining, a passion for hospitality, and a keen eye for detail. This is a hands-on role focused on delivering a seamless, high-end dining experience. Responsibilities include:- Managing all front-of-house operations and ensuring exceptional guest service
- Leading, training, and motivating the service team
- Coordinating closely with the kitchen to ensure smooth service flow
- Handling guest feedback professionally and proactively
- Monitoring stock levels, ordering supplies, and controlling costs
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards
- Maintaining the ambiance and appearance of the restaurant to luxury standards
- 3–5 years experience in a similar role within a high-end or fine dining establishment
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to manage and develop a team
- Excellent understanding of wine and food pairings
- Knowledge of POS and restaurant management systems
- Professional appearance and a calm, confident presence under pressure
