Job & Company Description:This multinational Distribution organization is at the forefront of innovation and is in search of a skilled Cost Accountant to join their team. As a key member of their finance division, you will play a crucial role in optimising costs, driving strategy, enabling growth, ensuring financial operational excellence.
- Analyse production costs, maintain standard costing models, and investigate cost variances.
- Support inventory valuation, physical stock counts, and ensure accurate cost capturing with operations teams.
- Prepare cost forecasts, assist in budgeting, and contribute to strategic planning initiatives.
- Manage month-end processes, including journal entries, reconciliations, and compliance with accounting standards.
- Oversee pricing structures and ensure alignment with margin targets, supporting the commercial team with accurate pricing data.
- Completed BCom degree
- Studying towards CIMA will be highly beneficial
- 2 – 4 years’ minimum
