Experience

2 Years’ experience in the Road/Airline and Freight industry

Primary Responsibilities & Duties
Main purpose of the Job:
To identify opportunities, promote Interloc's service offering through acquiring and onboarding of new customers to achieve market share growth within the Domestic Airfreight sector.
Identify Opportunities
-
Identify new opportunities and potential customers through industry knowledge and contacts
-
Develop strategies to capitalize on opportunities identified
Customer Acquisition
-
Grow the Interloc customer base by providing relevant information and opening new accounts
-
Promote service offering including vehicle availability, routes, and tailored value-added services
Rate Negotiations and Pricing Structures
-
Negotiate rate structures aligned with Sales and Business Development strategy
-
Submit rates for system loading
-
Sign off and verify loaded rates to ensure accurate billing
-
Perform preliminary billing checks to identify and correct errors
Customer Onboarding
-
Collect and update customer contact information on Interloc platforms
-
Provide initial training on the Interloc portal
-
Notify Finance of new accounts for linking and billing setup
-
Notify Operations of new customers and their requirements
-
Monitor and report on customer spend for the first 3 months
Service Expansion
-
Identify areas for service improvement and propose new services based on customer and market insights
-
Investigate new verticals/commodities and develop strategies to capture them
Handover to Key Accounts
-
Rate customer account after 3 months (A, B, C classification)
-
Provide Key Accounts team with a full customer overview and detailed handover
Requirements:
