- To assist in-house and if required in the field with basic server and user desktop issues, utilising a holistic viewpoint to permanently resolve the issues.
- The goal is to minimise the overall amount of support tickets are being received on a daily basis, thus freeing up the in-house helpdesk support engineers.
- This technician should have the capability to notice trends in re-occurring issues and put in place, systems that will nullify the re-occurrences.
Requirements:

- This technician should have the capability to notice trends in re-occurring issues and put in place, systems that will nullify the re-occurrences.
- A+: 2 to 3 years
- MCE/MCP: 2 to 3 years
- Advanced Windows Server, Windows Desktop skills, like administering Active Directory, resolve DNS and DHCP issues.
- Matric with Microsoft Certification: MCSE (Server 2008 or newer) and/or MCP (at least 4 year server practical experience)
- Windows Operating Systems
- Word & Excel Mastery
- Preferred skills of Pastel, Pervasive, Exchange and Cloud Computing
- First Line Support including but not limited to: Telephonic and Remote Support. General troubleshooting of all hardware and software including printers
- VPN and Mikrotik knowledge
- Setup of new hardware and software
- Neat and presentable
- Non-negotiable - Excellent Spoken and Written skills in English and Afrikaans
- Professional and adaptable - being always ready for a challenge and to learn something new
- Must be a team player, with a view to contribute to the other members on a day to day basis, with the intention to uplift & upskill the other team members.

Previous Service desk experience will be an advantage or other client servicing role
