Underground Qualified Fitter

Job Vacancy Description We are currently looking for a qualified fitter with underground experience. Will be trained on our equipment to oversee the maintenance, Installation and training on a mining site in welkom. Tasks and Responsibilities Compliance : Ensure standards compliance and loss control Control underground maintenance stock Maintenance and preventive maintenance : Oversee planned maintenance. Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical equipment Safety : Ensure the safe and effective operation of machinery and equipment Installation : Install hydropowered equipment according to standards Breakdown : Perform maintenance and breakdown duties as required Reporting: Report mechanical breakdowns and problems to supervisors Documentation: Maintain the maintenance system and update records Training: Coordinate underground training and equipment allocation

Requirements:

• Maintenance: 5 to 6 years
• Fitter Apprentice: 5 to 6 years
• Underground Maintenance: 5 to 6 years

Must have matric and must be qualified as a fitter Must have 5+ years experience underground No criminal record Valid Medical Certificate or medically fit to work underground
