Description:
Cash Processing Solutions offers internship opportunity to unemployed South African graduates (P1&P2) in Mechanical Engineering (to include Mathematics and English) aged between 18 and 29 years.
The internship opportunity targets previously disadvantaged groups as per Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998.
Learning Objectives
- Diagnosing system problems in minimal time and making repairs.
- Making recommendations for improving service reliability and performance of Cash Processing equipment.
- Gathering and recording machine information at regular intervals to monitor performance.
- Escalating solving technical problems by seeking timely advice or assistance from technical support when necessary.
- Handling customers in a professional manner during difficult high-pressure situations.
- Documenting system problems and Preventative Maintenance (PM) performed in customer's site log.
- Submitting appropriate spare parts paperwork on a weekly basis
Requirements:

- Ability to solve difficult technical problems or actively seek out solutions
- Ability to show an approach to continuous improvement
- Must be available and willing to commit at least 12 months for an internship
- Must be in posession of a degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering (to include Mathematics and English
- Computer Literate (XP, MS Office, particularly Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Outlook).
