Our client, a dynamic and fast-paced leader in the retail industry, is seeking a talented and driven Group Accountant to join their team based in Johannesburg South. This is not just another accounting role — it’s an opportunity to shape financial operations, lead a team, and contribute to the continued growth of a thriving business.

Duties:
  • Preparation and consolidation of annual financial statements.
  • Coordination and management of the audit process.
  • Financial analysis and reporting across multiple business units.
  • Supporting operational decision-making through insightful data.
  • Implementation and improvement of financial controls and procedures.

Job Experience & Skills Required:

Qualifications:

  • CA(SA) qualification – essential

Experience:

  • 2–3 years’ post-article experience in finance/accounting
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience in a retail environment (advantageous)
