About the Role:As New Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for identifying and securing profitable new business opportunities across KwaZulu-Natal and nationally. You will drive solution-based selling, lead client engagements at C-level, and develop winning proposals that support long-term business growth. Key Responsibilities:
  • Drive new business growth in warehousing and distribution within key verticals
  • Identify and source high-value business leads aligned to strategic goals
  • Manage the full sales lifecycle – from initial prospecting through to final negotiations and onboarding
  • Lead solution design processes, ensuring proposals are cost-effective, feasible, and client-focused
  • Build and manage a long-term sales pipeline to support multi-year growth
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth handover and implementation

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience selling logistics (warehouse & distribution) solutions to large customers
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing complex solution-based sales cycles
  • C-level negotiation experience and excellent presentation skills
  • High business acumen with strong strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities
  • Experience in using CRM tools and warehouse/ERP systems (Red Prairie, SAP – advantageous)
  • Exposure to the automotive production systems – a plus
  • CPIM/CSCP or logistics/supply chain-related qualifications – advantageous
