Description:
JOB PURPOSE
Achieves maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory and/or market segment by using specialised knowledge of the relevant technology to give customers the required information on operations and maintenance. Responsible for meeting a specific sales budget or target.
JOB FUNCTION
· 90% of existing business is retained, market share is increased by obtaining new business, monthly and annual sales budget is met
· Products and services are delivered to customer as and when required
· Company sales procedures are followed during sales calls
· All client requests are responded to within 24 hours
· At least 36 client visits per month, conveyor Inspection when required and customer satisfaction is maintained
· Customer information is captured and updated on the Mato database
· All expenditures are reconciled by due date
· Quotations are completed as and when required
· Feedback, near misses, incidents and innovations are logged on Sheqsys as they arise
· Call reports are prepared by due date
· Attendance and participation at exhibitions as discussed with MD
· Market research is conducted in designated areas
· Presentations are delivered to customer as required
· Opportunities are supported with point of sale material
Requirements:
QUALIFICATION & REQUIREMENTS
· Grade 12
· Technical Certificate (added advantage)
· At least 3 years relevant sales experience in a mining environment
· Sales Experience on Belt Cleaners, Lubrication Equipment, Light and Heavy-Duty Fastener will be advantageous.
· Customer focused, high quality work standards, persuasive, can build strategic working relationships and good communication skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (MS Word, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint)
