- Hire Resolves Client is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented
Responsibilities:
-
Operate the flow wrap automatic packing machine to required standards to ensure smooth production flow.
-
Start up, monitor, and shut down the machine as needed, including refilling packaging materials.
-
Set up the machine according to product-specific packaging requirements.
-
Perform regular checks and adjustments to ensure optimal machine performance.
-
Conduct routine preventative maintenance and cleaning to minimize downtime.
-
Identify and troubleshoot mechanical or operational issues; escalate and work with the production manager for resolution.
-
Monitor product quality during the production and packing process to ensure consistency.
-
Perform visual inspections and quality checks on packaged products.
-
Address any quality issues promptly and report them to the production manager.
-
Ensure the correct packaging is used for specific product lines and that packaging meets company standards.
-
Maintain accurate records of machine settings, production output, wastage, and maintenance activities.
-
Document all issues, solutions, and changes made during the shift.
-
Move completed product boxes to the correct inventory/storage area.
-
Coordinate with the production manager and warehouse team for smooth operational flow.
-
Organise and monitor casual labour where required to support production.
-
Ensure full compliance with FSMS (Food Safety Management Systems), company policies, procedures, and relevant safety regulations.
-
Report any safety concerns or hazards immediately and follow all safety protocols.

Work closely with the production team to meet daily targets and maintain workflow.
Requirements:

Minimum 1–2 years’ experience operating flow wrapping or similar packaging machines in a production environment.
-
A technical qualification in Engineering (N4 or equivalent) or a related field is advantageous.
-
Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting abilities.
-
Good understanding of quality control, machine setup, and packaging standards.
-
Physically fit and able to work on their feet throughout the shift.
-
Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
-
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and hygiene standards.
-
Ability to document operations accurately and work in a structured, process-driven environment.
