Known for their innovation, customer service, and quality engineering, they are expanding and need a driven sales professional to support their continued growth.The Role
As the Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for developing new business opportunities while managing and nurturing existing client relationships. You’ll act as the technical liaison between the customer and internal engineering teams, ensuring solutions are tailored to meet client requirements.Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, pursue, and close sales opportunities for capital equipment
- Conduct technical presentations and product demonstrations to customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, and stakeholders
- Prepare detailed proposals, costings, and technical specifications
- Collaborate with the engineering and service teams to ensure customer satisfaction
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends, competitors, and products
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in capital equipment sales (industrial, manufacturing, or process industries preferred)
- Strong technical background – ideally in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage a sales territory
- Willingness to travel as required
