A fast-growing Johannesburg-based financial services provider is seeking a Financial Manager to lead and enhance its finance function. With a mission to provide responsible and accessible credit solutions, the company operates in a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment where operational rigour and strategic thinking are key to success. This role is ideal for a hands-on finance professional who’s ready to take on a leadership role and drive financial performance across the business. Key Responsibilities:- Oversee the full finance function, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and all relevant regulatory requirements.
- Manage reconciliations, general ledger oversight, and month-end processes.
- Lead audit preparation and liaise with external auditors.
- Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making across the organisation.
- Mentor and manage junior finance staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- BCom in Accounting or a related field (essential).
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within financial services.
- Proficient in Xero and Excel, with strong financial modelling and reporting skills.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
