Job Description
We are looking for a skilled IT Systems Administrator to join our clients team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance across Windows and Linux servers.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows desktops, Windows servers, and Linux servers.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system, network, and software issues for all users.
- Ensure IT infrastructure security, including implementing and maintaining security patches.
- Manage software updates and security patches for desktops and servers.
- Identify and resolve network issues related to routing, switching, and connectivity.
- Administer cloud-based environments.
- Manage and maintain virtualization platforms such as Proxmox, Kubernetes, and Docker.
- Maintain and support VoIP systems and hardware.
- Develop and implement automation scripts using Bash or Python.
- Configure and manage web servers (Nginx, Apache).
- Candidates must be willing to work UK hours
