Duties:
Sales Target Achievement: Proactively meeting or exceeding sales goals set by management. This includes monitoring progress against targets, analyzing performance, and adapting strategies as needed. Customer Engagement: Building and nurturing relationships with both new and existing customers. Prioritizing excellent service to ensure loyalty and repeat business. Strategic Planning: Developing action plans that align with management's objectives. This includes identifying opportunities for growth, targeting new market segments, and positioning construction products effectively. Product Knowledge & Promotion: Demonstrating a deep understanding of the construction products being sold. Leveraging this knowledge to communicate value, address customer needs, and ultimately drive increased sales. Problem Solving: Being solutions-oriented to tackle challengeswhether it's troubleshooting issues for a customer or overcoming market competition. Increase sales at existing customers
Requirements:
Civil Engineering qualification with good understanding of technical drawings Experience working on a construction site (Site Agent or similar) Good construction and / or industrial product knowledge A sales/marketing qualification would be advantageous Good knowledge of construction clients Applicant must be willing to do country trips when required. Applicant must be willing to work flexible hours, when called upon to do so. In possession of a valid unendorsed drivers license. In possession of own vehicle Computer literate
Remuneration:
Negotiable package (R20k to R25k) plus fuel allowance and commission
