About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and reliable Tax Practitioner to manage all SARS-related matters for our company. This includes handling tax compliance, submissions, disputes, audits, and ensuring we meet all statutory obligations. If you’re someone who understands the ins and outs of SARS processes and can keep us compliant and penalty-free, we’d love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle all tax submissions to SARS (VAT, PAYE, Provisional Tax, Income Tax, etc.)
- Ensure compliance with all tax legislation and SARS deadlines
- Manage SARS correspondence, audits, and disputes professionally and promptly
- Keep accurate records of all tax matters and documentation
- Advise management on tax planning, risks, and opportunities
- Stay up to date with the latest tax laws and SARS regulations
Requirements:
- Registered Tax Practitioner with SARS and a recognized controlling body (e.g., SAIT, SAICA)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience handling SARS matters
- Strong knowledge of South African tax laws and eFiling
- High level of integrity, attention to detail, and accountability
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
