Job Purpose:
The Sales Consultant is responsible for promoting and selling products and services to customers, while ensuring exceptional customer service and contributing to the store's operational success. The role involves meeting sales targets, handling customer interactions professionally, and supporting store administration and stock management activities.
Key Responsibilities:

Perform daily stock counts in coordination with the Store Manager.

Ensure shelves are sufficiently stocked and products are displayed correctly.

Participate in daily cash-ups and float checks with the Store Manager.

Maintain a clean, organized store environment ready for trade.
-
Assist with receiving and dispatching stock, ensuring accuracy during loading/off-loading with delivery drivers.

Achieve monthly branch and individual sales targets.
-
Provide timely and accurate customer service, including quotes and invoices.
-
Maintain positive relationships with customers, ensuring minimal complaints.
-
Inform customers of ongoing specials and promotions.
-
Follow up on customer quotes within appropriate timeframes.
-
Manage customer communication, including email responses.
-
Assist in meeting team Sales Boost targets.
-
Address and resolve customer queries efficiently.
-
Perform various store administrative tasks as assigned.
-
Support the Store Manager with ad hoc projects and tasks.
-
Ensure all sales and administrative documentation is completed and submitted timeously.

Undertake additional duties as required from time to time.
