Store Manager roles to be filled in the following locations:

Job Purpose:
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing the full operations of the store to ensure optimal performance, profitability, and customer satisfaction. The role involves managing staff, stock, cash control, customer service, and adherence to company policies and procedures, while meeting sales targets and ensuring effective day-to-day store functioning.
Key Responsibilities:

Open and close the store; ensure staff punctuality and adherence to shift times.

Manage daily and monthly cash-ups and maintain control over cash handling.
-
Oversee daily, spot, and Game Plan stock counts to ensure stock integrity.
-
Accountable for all stock and cash within the store.
-
Manage receiving of stock and ensure receipting aligns with purchase orders and P.O.S.
-
Conduct monthly stock counts and report on variances.
-
Handle all follow-ups on stock orders, supplier communication, and IBTs.
-
Maintain accurate reports for all stock losses and gains.
-
Facilitate over-the-counter and telephonic sales.
-
Ensure product organization, presentation, and promotional displays are effectively executed.
-
Analyze customer buying trends, product performance, and profitability.
-
Promote customer retention and growth through quality service and consistent follow-up.
-
Ensure the achievement of store-specific targets, including Project Boost & Sales Boost.
-
Enforce company policies and procedures; maintain staff compliance.
-
Uphold high standards of housekeeping and health & safety.
-
Ensure tills are balanced, stocked with float, and match P.O.S reports.
-
Reconcile daily transactions with the cash takings book and safe balance.
-
Inspect and sign for deliveries; process GRVs and stock receipts correctly.
-
Resolve customer complaints and store discrepancies promptly.
-
Supervise the accurate processing of quotes and invoices.
-
Maintain positive customer relationships and monitor customer service performance.
-
Ensure staff training, onboarding support, and disciplinary procedures are followed.
-
Monitor staff attendance registers and address shortages or scheduling concerns.
-
Coordinate staff rosters and leave schedules.

- Store Manager: 2 to 3 years

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a retail or wholesale management role.

Grade 12 (Matric) certificate.
-
Own transport is essential.

Computer literacy and experience with P.O.S systems.

Strong organizational and time-management capabilities.
