OHS Care is actively recruiting for a qualified Occupational Health Assistant to work wthin the mobile teams as well as in the clinic at the head office in Spartan, Kempton Park.

Duties including but not limited to:

  • Assisting the team with Occupational Health Tests (Audiometry / Vision Screening or Spirometry)
  • Records management in an electronic database
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Improve efficiency and quality of work done on-site and in the clinic

Requirements:

  • Assisting the team with Occupational Health Tests (Audiometry / Vision Screening or Spirometry)
  • Records management in an electronic database
  • Regulatory compliance
  • Improve efficiency and quality of work done on-site and in the clinic
  • Senior Certificate
  • Computer Literacy (Microsoft Package)
  • At least 2 years' experience working on mobiles, clinic or similar environment
  • Occupational Health Certificates (Audiometry / Vision Screening or Spirometry) will be advantageous
  • Medical Office Administrative certification or Administrative Qualification is beneficial
  • Excellent phone etiquette
  • Knowledge of medical terminology
  • Experience working in a medical office setting
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team and handle confidential information
  • Experience with electronic medical records is a plus
  • Organisational, leadership and people skills

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • Senior Certificate
