Senior Infrastructure Delivery Programme Specialist
Location: Johannesburg or Durban
We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Delivery Programme Specialist to join our dynamic Advisory team. This role is key to driving business growth and successfully delivering infrastructure-related services and projects across the region.
1. Role Description
The primary responsibilities of this role include:

Identifying viable prospects and developing compelling, winning proposals.

Focusing initially on the South African market, with potential expansion into the broader Sub-Saharan Africa region as the business grows.

Successfully delivering projects aligned with internal management systems and best practices.
-
Providing high-quality technical inputs and leadership, particularly in institutional development and management projects.
-
Building and maintaining strong relationships with key clients, prospective customers, and strategic delivery partners.
-
Mentoring junior team members and peers to enhance the team’s capabilities and build resilience within a small, high-performing group.

Identifying and developing new market opportunities to grow the Advisory service offering.
-
Ensuring that Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies are effectively implemented and followed in all project activities.
2. Candidate Key Specifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Programme/Project Management.

A relevant qualification in the Infrastructure Advisory services field.
-
Over 18 years of experience working with government institutions.
-
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage a wide range of stakeholders including political, technical, and public interest groups.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage projects commercially.
-
A customer-focused mindset, with the ability to tailor solutions to client needs.
-
Proven people management skills – able to identify strengths, support development areas, and lead diverse teams.

Cultural awareness and the ability to engage effectively across diverse backgrounds.

Demonstrated success in leading and managing technical teams.

Familiarity with professional and international standards.
