1. Job Purpose

Ensuring that all stock is ordered when minimum levels are reached and expediting of orders to ensure prompt delivery. Assisting Buyer as and when needed. Minimum experience, three years in similar role.

2. Key Responsibilities


Creating purchase orders
Issuing purchase orders to suppliers
Issuing documents to freight forwarders
Tracking of open orders
Tracking of Import shipments
Expediting orders and ensuring prompt dispatch from suppliers
Liaising with local and international suppliers
Liaising with freight forwarders
Liaising with sales team, production and QC
Support the Management as required
Import process
Knowledge of Inco Terms
Calculating of landed cost
Reports

responsible for managing the import and export of goods, will ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations related to international business, as well as coordinate with customs and carriers to ensure efficient transit of goods.
