Duties and Responsibilities
- Lead the regional financial controllership function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
- Drive compliance with SOX and US GAAP standards across all reporting entities
- Provide strategic financial guidance to senior leadership and operational heads
- Oversee financial planning, analysis, and internal controls
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of finance professionals
- Liaise with global finance teams and external auditors to ensure audit readiness
- Champion continuous improvement and system optimization initiatives
- CA(SA) qualification
- 10–15 years of progressive financial experience, with at least 10 years in the mining industry
- Proven leadership experience in a Head of Financial Control or similar senior finance role
- Strong expertise in SOX and US GAAP compliance
- Demonstrated success in managing regional or multi-country finance teams
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
