We have a client with an amazing opportunity based in South Africa .
Role: Senior Water Engineer
Industry: Water & Infrastructure Engineering
Level: Senior
Key Requirements:
• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering (Master’s degree advantageous)
• PrEng registration preferred
• 8 + years of experience in water engineering
• Expertise in hydraulic modeling, surge/transient wave analysis, and flood risk assessments
• Experience in the design of bulk water and sewage infrastructure, reservoirs, pump stations, and reticulation systems
• Proficiency in hydraulic analysis software (e.g., Bentley Hammer, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWorks, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, GIS)
• Strong technical report writing and project documentation skills
• Experience in water demand management and master planning studies

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work independently and manage complex designs
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Leadership skills with the ability to mentor junior engineers
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary teams
