Description:
The Junior Case Manager works closely with healthcare providers, medical aids, and administrative teams to facilitate efficient case management and enhance the patient experience.Education, Qualifications and Experience:
- Grade 12 or equivalent qualification.
- Enrolled Nurse or equivalent healthcare qualification is advantageous.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in case management, medical aid administration, or hospital billing.
- Knowledge of medical scheme benefits, hospital authorisation processes, and clinical coding.
- Experience working in the healthcare sector or hospital environment.
- Proficiency in hospital information systems and medical billing software.
- Strong understanding of ICD-10 and CPT coding.
