Duties:Actively search, pursue and engage potential clients
Weekly meetings with Regions General Manager & Operations Manager
Manage the compilation, and where necessary draft, high quality proposals, bids and tender responses
Follow-up and survey leads generated through various channels and cold calling
Ensure tenders and bids are responded to in a professional, timely and compliant manner.
Engage and manage strategic suppliers who are providing solution and commercial content for proposals, bids and tender responses
Identify weaknesses in sales process and address
Follow-up on cancelled contracts
Implement and manage strategic initiatives to ensure that annual growth targets are met and ideally exceeded to increase the companys market share
Achieve Monthly Sales Budgets by implementing and maintaining a marketing and sales strategy.
Identifying new growth opportunities by market segments
Using the full marketing mix for the companys marketing communications
Promote sister companies
Provide a comprehensive sales and marketing report on a weekly and monthly basis
Develop and execute sales plans to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales goals.
Develop and implement sales strategies and tactics.
Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients.
Generate new leads through various channels
Manage the sales lifecycle from prospecting to closing and implementation.
Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and proposals.
Negotiate contracts and ensure timely closure of deals.
Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product development) to achieve business goals.
Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions in a CRM system.
Requirements:
Grade 12
Bachelors Degree/National Diploma in Sales / Business Development / Marketing
Valid Drivers License
A minimum of 3 years experience In Business Development & best practices within the Sales Environment
Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field. Hospitality or commercial cleaning experience will be an advantage.
Strong Sales & Marketing Knowledge (ideally in the services industry)
MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Excel, MS Outlook
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Strong networking abilities and the ability to build rapport with clients.
Understanding of the sales process and best practices.
Experience with CRM software
Ability to identify and resolve client issues.
Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
Ability to analyse data and identify trends.
