Description:
Schedule and plan the service team for projects, installations, commissioning, and equipment services
Assist with installations and commissioning as required
Oversee service technician operations, including maintenance planning, execution, and the completion of corrective, preventative, and statutory tasks
Coordinate real-time diagnostics, troubleshooting, and remote interventions to ensure efficient operation of field equipment and boiler systems
Contribute to the Service Tech Department sales targets by generating revenue and promoting service-level agreement (SLA) options to clients
Participate in client presentations, highlighting technical benefits, operational efficiency gains, and cost-saving opportunities, while developing the current BMS system into a revenue-generating platform
Build reporting formats, conduct extensive training for internal teams (including Service Technicians), and ensure the service offering is extended to both existing and new clients
Skills & Experience:
8 to 10 years of experience in the Industrial/Engineering environment
Strong problem-solving skills with experience in commissioning burners and boilers, as well as issuing COC certificates
Solid understanding of boilers and burners
Proven leadership abilities in managing teams
3 to 4 years of experience in the installation of burners and boilers, particularly related to green energy, gas, and oil systems
Minimum requirements
B Tech: M. Eng or N. Dip Mech Eng
Gas Practitioner License
8 to 10 years of experience in the Industrial/Engineering environment
3 to 4 years of experience in the installation of burners and boilers, particularly related to green energy, gas, and oil systems
Only South African Residents or individuals with a relevant South African work permit will be considered.
