Position Available: Regional Process & Compliance Advisorð Location: Gautengð Reporting Line: Network Risk & Compliance Manager / SVP Africað¦ Industry: Freight & LogisticsA well-established organisation in the freight and logistics industry is looking to appoint a skilled Regional Process & Compliance Advisor to support the transformation of its regional operations. This newly created role is key in aligning processes with global standards, ensuring compliance across the region, and managing training and development initiatives. Overview of Responsibilities:- Drive the implementation of global operational and compliance standards within the South African region.
- Review, document, and align regional operational and functional process variations to global frameworks.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver structured training programmes in line with global and regional standards.
- Manage and track employee training schedules, participation, and completion metrics.
- Monitor compliance with 8 Pillar self-declarations and 5 Star Audit requirements.
- Oversee the rollout of mandatory training programmes such as Dangerous Goods and Regulated Air Cargo Agent (RACA).
- Analyse the current compliance training curriculum and support updates as needed.
- Facilitate quarterly compliance meetings to review regional performance, initiatives, and safety trends.
- Ensure all regional branches meet SMART compliance targets and maintain ongoing safety and security protocols.
- Investigate incidents and near misses through the internal online reporting system.
- Maintain facility standards to ensure buildings are safe, operational, and fully compliant with health and safety regulations.
- Conduct global training needs analyses to identify future training and development areas, including customer service training.
- Proven experience in Learning & Development and/or Compliance is essential.
- Knowledge of Blujay TMFF is advantageous.
- Willingness to travel across South Africa, sometimes at short notice.
- Strong administrative and planning skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, learning management systems, and project coordination tools.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly across multiple time zones.
- Confident stakeholder manager with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a strong sense of accountability and completion.
- Professional, adaptable, and solutions-driven.
