Our clients are consistently looking for high-calibre Accountants with a strong background in the financial services sector. These professionals are key to ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and analysis in a fast-paced, highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with IFRS and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Perform general ledger reconciliations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.
• Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
• Provide support in regulatory reporting, tax calculations, and submissions.
• Collaborate with auditors (internal and external) during audit processes.
• Analyse financial data to identify discrepancies, trends, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain strong internal controls and assist in implementing best practices across finance operations.

Requirements:

• Relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CA(SA), CIMA, or equivalent qualification preferred).
• 3–5 years’ experience in a financial services environment (e.g. banking, insurance, asset management, or investment industry).
• Solid understanding of financial instruments, regulatory requirements, and accounting standards (IFRS essential).
• Strong technical accounting skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent problem-solving ability and communication skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and financial reporting systems.
