Motor Mechanic – Plettenberg Bay Our client based in Plettenberg Bay is on a recruitment drive for a dynamic, hands-on and qualified mechanic to join their team.The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge in inspecting, repairing, and maintaining vehicles to ensure they operate safely and efficiently. Responsibilities:Diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults using specialized tools and diagnostic software.Performing repairs on engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and other vehicle components.Conducting routine maintenance, such as services & brake replacement.Testing vehicles to identify performance issues and ensuring repairs meet safety standards. Qualifications:- Red Seal Qualified mechanic
- 3 -5 years experience
- Computer literate
- Valid Driver’s license
- Fluent in English and Afrikaans
General
- Must be able to work under pressure and be a team player
- Own transport would be an advantage
- Sober habits
- High standard of cleanliness & attention to detail
- Reliable

- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of vehicle systems, parts, and diagnostic tools.
- Ability to work with hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and explain issues clearly.
- Formal training in automotive technology or relevant certification is preferred.
