Job Purpose - The role will focus on normal dispatch clerk duties and the double checking/order/picking process. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring the delivery vehicles are serviced/maintained and supervising the distribution team.
Skills Required :
Management of warehouse teams to ensure the effective management of incoming goods, traceability and storage of Inventory.
Developing and implementing documented procedures for an effective Traceability system.
Ensuring compliance to SHEQ management system in your area of control. Identification of problem areas and providing solutions for them.
Maintaining the traceability data base and continuously improving its effectiveness.
Responsible for inventory accuracy of both raw material and finished goods from receiving through to dispatch.
Responsible for the Dispatch function, from the picking of customer sales orders to ensuring Drivers deliver orders on time.
Evaluating and reporting on the performance of the Dispatch function and provide a communication link between the warehouse and Sales.

Matric or Diploma in Supply Chain/ Logistics and Warehousing.
