The successful candidate will join the finance department and support the Group Tax Manager on the effective administration of all tax matters for the Group.

You Bring:
- Matric
- Finance related degree.
- 2 -3 years related tax experience in a similar role.
What You’ll Do For The Brand:
Financial metrics
- Preparation and/or review of annual income tax calculations.
- Preparation and/or review of annual income tax returns.
- Offer support in relation to tax accounting and reporting i.e. deferred tax calculations, SARS balance sheet recon, etc.
- Assess and research ad hoc tax issues to identify and propose solutions.
- Offer support and guidance during SARS and external audits.
- Research and propose response to SARS audits, reviews and requests.
- Preparation and/or review of monthly VAT calculations.
- Preparation and/or review of monthly VAT returns.
- Offer support for the preparation and payment of all tax obligations.
- Liaise with SARS on relevant tax matters.
- Offer e-filing support.
- Assist with company projects from time to time as and when required by the Group Technical Manager and CFO.
- Any other ad hoc tasks as directed.
