Key Responsibilities:
- Develop procurement category strategies, support sourcing events, and execute contracts to ensure supply security, value, and innovation.
- Assess, select, and manage supplier performance. Negotiate contracts and secure favorable terms, while ensuring compliance and quality delivery.
- Oversee the full contract lifecycle. Ensure timely contract administration, procurement transactions, and compliance with internal procedures.
- Manage purchase orders, track deliveries, maintain transaction records, and identify procurement needs across departments.
- Analyze spend, identify savings opportunities, monitor budgets, and deliver reports and presentations to management.
- Work closely with internal teams to assess procurement needs and ensure alignment with business priorities.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a procurement role (Commercial Truck industry preferred)
- Valid Code 8 Drivers License
- CIPS or similar procurement certification (advantageous)
- Proficiency in procurement and ERP systems
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Understanding of procurement regulations, supply chain dynamics, and compliance requirements
