Incident Officer

Description:

• Attending to all reported incidents and opening cases at SAPS immediately upon receiving incident report from client
• Incident reporting of all crime and related incidents
• Daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Client liaison and professional client relationship;
• Ongoing liaison with client and SAPS
• Answer and action all incoming calls;
• Adhere to all instructions by Management;
• Must be able to work weekdays, 06h00 18h00
• Be prepared to be on standby over weekends
• Sound knowledge of Companys Disciplinary Procedures;
  Preferred qualifications/attributes/skills:
  
  
• PSIRA Certification Grade B or higher;
• Grade 12 or equivalent qualification;
• Drivers license
• Sound security knowledge
• A working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• SAPS experience will be an advantage
• Knowledge of investigation techniques
• Must have excellent presentation, verbal communication and report writing skills
• Knowledge Criminal Procedures Act
• Ability to operate with confidence under pressure and during emergencies;
• Good communication skills in English and one other South African language;
