Location: Pretoria, GautengA dynamic and fast-paced organisation is seeking a SAIPA-qualified Professional Accountant to take ownership of key financial functions across a diverse group of companies. Key Responsibilities:
General Ledger Management: Maintain and oversee general ledger activities across multiple entities. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the full cycle of AP and AR, including reconciliations. Costing & Analysis: Deliver detailed costing and profitability analysis to drive operational efficiency. Financial Reporting: Prepare consolidated financial statements in compliance with applicable standards. Month-End & Year-End Closures: Lead all closing procedures and reconciliations. System Utilisation: Work effectively with Xero or similar accounting platforms to manage financial data. Audit Support: Coordinate audit preparations and liaise with auditors. Process Improvement: Continuously seek ways to enhance accuracy and efficiency in accounting workflows.Requirements:
SAIPA qualification with a minimum of 3 years experience in a relevant accounting role. Strong understanding of accounting principles, costing, and reporting standards. Experience working with Xero (or similar software). Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage complex financial data.
