About the Role:
An established clothing wholesaler in Lesotho is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Manager to lead and oversee its production operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, hands-on manufacturing knowledge, and a results-driven mindset to support efficient, cost-effective, and high-quality production outputs.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead day-to-day production operations to meet targets for quality, output, and delivery timelines Develop and execute production schedules and capacity plans Manage and mentor a diverse production team, fostering a positive and productive work environment Monitor all processes for quality assurance and implement corrective actions as needed Drive continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency, cost control, and product quality Ensure all health, safety, and compliance standards are maintained Collaborate closely with design, sourcing, and logistics departments for seamless workflowRequirements:
Minimum 5–8 years’ experience in production or operations management within the clothing, textile, or apparel sector Proven ability to manage production staff and workflow in a high-volume manufacturing environment Strong knowledge of garment construction, quality control, and supply chain principles Solid understanding of lean manufacturing and production planning tools Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines Valid PassportQualifications:
Diploma or Degree in Production Management, Textile Technology, Clothing Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering Additional management or quality assurance certifications are highly advantageous Experience in Southern African markets and knowledge of local labor laws will be beneficial
