A distinguished ultra-luxury hotel in Durban is seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant Manager to lead its signature dining venue. This role requires an individual with a strong background in fine dining or luxury hospitality, excellent leadership skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.Location: DurbanPosition Type: Full-time (including evenings, weekends, and public holidays) Key Responsibilities:- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service delivery
- Lead, train, and motivate a high-performing front-of-house team
- Ensure all guest experiences align with the property's five-star standards
- Oversee reservations, guest flow, and service quality
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef and F&B Manager on menu planning and service coordination
- Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints with professionalism
- Manage stock control, orders, and cost controls
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- 3–5 years’ experience as a Restaurant Manager or similar role in a luxury hotel or fine dining environment
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Exceptional guest-relations and communication abilities
- Sound understanding of wine service, premium dining etiquette, and POS systems
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Hospitality qualification advantageous
