Description:

We have an opportunity for a highly skilled Security Manager with extensive experience within the hospitality industry for a 5 star hotel in the Pretoria North area, to lead and manage all aspects regarding safety and securitywithin the complex. Requirements:
  • Matric
  • National Diploma / B Degree in Security Management / Policing.
  • PSIRA Grade A or B
  • Proven experience in security management, in a hospitality or similar environment
  • 3- 4 years’ experience in the field of security.
  • Knowledge of security Acts and Regulations
    Excellent disciplinary, investigation, assessment, and interview skills.
  • Proficiency in report writing, fault finding, risk management, and MIB techniques.
  • Experience in providing high-level VIP protection services is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices related to security.
  • Clear criminal record (Essential)
Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the security team to ensure the safety and security of guests, staff, and property.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive security policies and procedures to safeguard the complex.
  • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify potential risks and vulnerabilities.
  • Investigate security incidents, breaches, or complaints thoroughly and effectively.
  • Conduct interviews with relevant parties to gather information and evidence.
  • Compile detailed and accurate reports on security incidents, investigations, and findings.
  • Utilize fault-finding skills to identify and address security system malfunctions or weaknesses.
  • Implement risk management strategies to mitigate potential threats and hazards.
  • Utilize MIB techniques to gather and analyse intelligence relevant to security operations.
  • Provide high-level VIP protection services as required, ensuring the safety and privacy of VIP guests.
  • Demonstrate the attributes of a law enforcement professional, including integrity, vigilance, and professionalism.
  • Execute all responsibilities with the utmost care, respect, and discretion, especially concerning hospitality staff and guests.
