Description:
Provide support to all the Company’s Divisions and Affiliated by enabling them to fulfil their duties required for the business unit in order to meet deadlines and objectives.
Support the IT Department with day to day administrative tasks/Procedures and support of users with regards to IT related issues and the reporting of such issues when required, responsible for admin on all IT Projects
Spport of daily IT processes and users not limited to but including:
Remote and desktop support to all the company’s users and its branches/divisions and affiliates.
Daily user hardware and software support.
Configuration and setup of new and/or existing users’ laptops and/or workstations etc.
Network support as and when required.
Printer support and/or maintenance, able to do extensive repairs to hardware.
Replace screens, batteries & other hardware.
First Line IT Support and working on ticketing system.
Administration of IT Processes Including
Managing new users.
Assist with control of assets, existing and new.
Requisitions for new equipment/ Software.
Printer consumables rotation and stock control.
Stock control of all IT Assets.
Participate in all IT Projects.
Comply with and enforce all company policies and procedures.
Assist fellow employees with daily functions as and when required.
Quickly learn and adapt to new software packages; demonstrate a passion for IT and technology.
Follow internal installation procedures and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Perform database backups, and restore databases as needed.
Carry out all other reasonable IT tasks that may be delegated from time to time
Requirements:
- Comptia A+ Essentials: 1 to 2 years
- Comptia Network+: 1 to 2 years
- Support And Network: 1 to 2 years
Qualifications:
MS Packages
CompTIA A+
CompTIA N+ MUST HAVE BOTH
Clear communication skills, written and verbal proficiency in both English and Afrikaans
1 – 2 years Support and Network
Administration experience would be advantageous.
