Redwill ICT/Opentel is seeking a dynamic and vibrant IT Support Technician, based in Midrand, who is motivated, driven and passionate about technology and innovation. Below is some expertise required for configuration, support and maintenance of ICT Infrastructure and Desktop support.
Job Responsibilities include but not limited:
• 2-3 years’ experience
• First and Second line IT Support
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
• System and server management
• Remote support
• Troubleshooting
• Network administration and security (TCP/IP, LAN, WAN, VLAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP and firewall management)
• Networking and cabling
• Wireless networking
• On-site support for hardware, software and network issues
• Deployment and customer site support
• Troubleshoot Windows
• Maintain IT infrastructure
• Standby and/or afterhours
Requirements:
Education / Work and Skills Required:
• Matric
• CompTIA A+ and N+
• MCSA OR CCNA
• CCNP or relevant Network certifications
• Mikrotik
• Qualifications that will advantageous
• A driver’s license is required
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Effective written, verbal and presentation and listening communications skills
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
• Stress and Time management.
