Job Purpose:
The Technical Sales Representative will utilise their expertise in LED screen technology and proven sales skills to actively target and engage key clients, offering tailored solutions that meet specific needs. With a deep understanding of Direct View LED screens, networking, and related software, the individual will drive product demonstrations, identify customer requirements, and close high-value deals. Success in this role will require strong relationship-building abilities, a consultative sales approach, and the ability to stay ahead of industry trends. The role demands collaboration with internal teams and a relentless focus on delivering exceptional solutions to drive business growth and exceed sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Expertise:
- In-depth knowledge of LED screen technology, including:
- Advanced knowledge in Novastar software, Nova LCT, V-CAN, Viplex Express, Configuring Direct View LED
- Understanding advanced working of Direct View LED screens
- Advanced knowledge of Networking
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical customers.
- Understanding of installation requirements, maintenance procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.
Sales and Customer Interaction:
- Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build strong, long-term relationships with potential clients.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments to understand customer requirements and recommend customised LED screen solutions that best suit their needs.
- Present and demonstrate LED screen products and solutions, highlighting key features, benefits, and value to drive customer interest and sales.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close deals, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Provide excellent after-sales support, addressing customer queries, resolving issues, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction with products and services.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with internal teams, including sales, engineering, and product management.
- Develop and deliver tailored proposals, presentations, and solution demonstrations.
- Maintain clear and consistent communication with customers throughout the sales process.
Market Knowledge:
- Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor offerings.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify opportunities and improve product offerings.
Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma / Degree in a technical field (e.g., Business Development, Multimedia, Audio Visual) or equivalent experience.
- 5-Years Proven experience in technical sales, preferably in the Audio Visual, LED display industry.
- Strong understanding of Direct View LED screen technology, networking, and related systems.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to identify customer needs, build relationships, and close deals.
- Proven ability to work in a team.
