Hire Resolve's client , a leading investment management and advisory firm with a pan-African focus, is seeking a highly motivated and analytical Graduate Analyst to join their dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in private capital markets, financial advisory services, and investment banking, while working alongside seasoned professionals across Africa.Responsibilities

Conduct financial analysis, research, and due diligence on transactions

Support deal teams with pitch books and presentations

Build and maintain financial models, forecasts, and data tools

Analyze markets and industry trends

Assist in transaction execution and documentation

Collaborate across teams in corporate finance, M&A, and capital markets
-
Manage data rooms and related documentation
-
Prepare announcements and investor meeting materials
-
Research and curate content for internal and external publications
-
Update deal pipelines, presentations, and marketing materials
-
Participate in meetings with investors and partners
-
Conduct due diligence, including KYC and background checks
-
Prepare investment memoranda and present to Investment Committee
-
Benchmark financials and ensure covenant compliance
Requirements
-
Degree in Economics, Business, Finance, Accounting, Investments, or related field
-
Minimum of 80% in matric Mathematics and 70% in English (or equivalent A-levels)
-
Prior experience in financial institutions, credit investing/analysis, or private capital is advantageous
-
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
-
Excellent written and verbal communication
-
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
-
Team player with a proactive mindset
-
Bonus: Proficiency in French, Portuguese, or Mandarin
