Description:

Hire Resolve's client , a well-established company in the construction industry, is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join their dynamic team in Pretoria. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to work on a variety of exciting projects while developing their professional career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for construction projects

  • Manage the procurement process including contracts, tenders, and supplier negotiations

  • Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to budgets

  • Conduct risk analysis evaluations and advise on potential cost-saving strategies

  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure financial efficiency

  • Manage project variations and contractual claims

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and cost management

  • Proficiency in industry-standard software (e.g., CCS, BuildSmart, or equivalent)

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
