Requirements:Minimum 3 years relevant SolidWorks (Intermediate level) Minimum 2 years' experience working with large EPCs, Project Management and Engineering Consulting Houses. - advantage Minimum 1-year mineral processing site experience. - advantage Knowledge of design process (PLM or PDM) and creating bill of materials. - advantage Good knowledge of draughting standards and manufacturing processes and an advanced understanding of: Limits and fits, Geometric tolerancing, Welding standards and symbols, Sheet metal cutting (Laser, Flame, Plasma), Sheet metal bending. Knowledge of ERP systems (Syspro preferably) High level of self-awareness. High level of neatness, very orderly and can work with minimal supervision and still achieve KPIs as required. Responsibilities:
Liaise with engineers & other departments in the company. Create detailed designs, Manufacturing Drawings, QC drawings, General Assembly Drawings, Exploded View and Sectional Assembly Drawings. Most of which will be General Assembly drawings. Comply to engineering & draughting best practices. Conforming to PDM (Product Data Management) and Product Lifecycle Management systems & controls. Conforming to filing structure & part numbering system. Create part numbers and manage BOMs on companys ERP system.
