- Optimize monitoring (Zabbix/ LibreQOS) and automate routine tasks for near-zero downtime.
- Drive innovation: peering, capacity upgrades, virtualization, and backup power solutions. What Youll Bring
- 2+ years of progressive network/data center experience
- Hands-on with routing & switching (MikroTik and Arista), plus network monitoring tools.
- A passion for preventing downtimealways anticipating risks and solutions.
- Familiarity with project management (e.g., Asana) and compliance standards (e.g., ICASA, Afrinic). Preferred Qualifications
- Professional certifications (e.g., CCNP, CCDP, MTCINE, or similar).
- Experience with virtualization (Xen, VMware, KVM) and storage area networks (SAN, EMC, VNX).
- Hands-on experience with automation/scripting (Python, Ansible, Bash, or similar).
