Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including espresso drinks, brewed coffee, tea, and specialty beverages. Provide excellent customer service by greeting and engaging with guests in a friendly, professional, and efficient manner. Ensure the coffee bar area is well-organized, clean, and stocked with necessary supplies. Operate and maintain coffee machines, grinders, and other equipment, ensuring they are in proper working condition. Maintain consistency in the quality and presentation of drinks according to hotel standards. Handle customer orders, process payments, and provide accurate receipts. Assist in the preparation and serving of light snacks, pastries, and other complementary items. Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure cleanliness and hygiene in the coffee station and surrounding areas. Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operations and efficient service. Keep track of inventory levels for coffee, tea, and related supplies, and assist in placing orders as needed. Address customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally.Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 2 years experience as a Barista or in a customer-facing role within a coffee shop, café, or restaurant setting. Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, brewing techniques, and beverage presentation. Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic cash handling experience and knowledge of POS systems. Strong organizational skills and the ability to maintain a clean, orderly workspace. Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
