Purpose:
We are seeking a dedicated Call Center Agent to join our team, responsible for conducting investigations in terms of Section 37 of the Pension Funds Act. The successful candidate will communicate with beneficiaries, trace and identify potential beneficiaries, and provide comprehensive reports and recommendations to the Board of Trustees.
Key Responsibilities:
Communicate with beneficiaries via telephone, email, or face-to-face. Trace and identify further possible beneficiaries. Obtain required documentation from beneficiaries, employers, and clients. General administration and record keeping. Provide feedback to beneficiaries, clients, and management regularly. Provide legally sound allocation recommendations in line with Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act. Ensure monthly targets are met. Uphold professionalism and service excellence in all interactions. Ensure compliance with POPIA parameters and processes.Minimum Qualifications and Experience:
Matric with Maths, English, Afrikaans, and preferably one local African language. 1 to 2 years’ experience in the Financial Services Industry, preferably with experience in Section 37C of the Pension Funds Act.Essential Skills:
Strong written and verbal communication skills (English and Afrikaans). Proficiency in one local African language. Strong investigation and tracing abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel). Strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. High level of integrity and confidentiality. Ability to work under pressure.Behavioral Competencies:
