Overview & Key Responsibilities
As a General Duty Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our plant. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Housekeeping : Ensuring the plant is clean and well-maintained.
- Equipment Maintenance : Maintaining equipment to meet established quality standards.
- Forklift Operation : Ensuring the safe operation of forklifts.
Essential Requirements
To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:
- Minimum of Grade 12/N3 Certificate .
- At least 2 years of experience in a heavy industry setting.
- Experience in a mechanical workshop environment .
- Basic knowledge of mechanical work activities .
- Familiarity with mechanical tools, equipment, and materials , including formal training in the safe use of hand tools.
- Understanding of safety procedures and practices .
- Willingness to work overtime and ability to perform physically demanding tasks .
